Makani is a dark style that features yellow color accents and focuses on improving the accessibility of your WoltLab Suite™ Installation.
The color palette of Makani was chosen to meet WCAG 2.1 and scoring AAA. This means that people with low vision have easier access to your site compared to some other styles.
The default font size of the style was set to a rem value which makes the font-size respond to the browsers settings. So if a user did set a higher/lower value than modern browsers' default value the style will respond to that (WoltLab's Default Style doesn't do that).
Links are colored with a shade of blue and underlined throughout messages, which makes it easier to identify them as links.
Makani was built using the latest techniques of modern web design and adapts to any display. The design adapts seamlessly to WoltLab Suite and offers a unique user experience.
The CMS page on the first screenshot was build using the plugin Layout Extension Kit from cls-design. You’ll get example codes or support for this plugin there, if needed.
As always: Well structured and clean modern modular SCSS code help to make this style a beauty at the backend too. Although you now might not need to look there. Makani is build to work with all apps currently available by WoltLab: Core (of course), Forum, Filebase, Blog, Calendar and Gallery. If third party developers stuck with WoltLab Suite's standards this style will also be compatible with their plugins or apps out of the box.
If you're running this style in a multilingual system: There are language variables available for Makani in German, English, French and Spanish. You can add more language variables.
